An authentic, broadbrow director originally from Ufa. I am half Tatar, half Kabardian. The calm, measured, and melancholy Tatar Murad is ready to talk about anything until the morning hours, to share something personal, and to quickly forget insults. The Kabardian Murad is persistent, exacting, proud, and sometimes opinionated. Since childhood, I’ve looked at the world in my own way and I think that life is a long movie, where everything should be either perfect or go to blazes. Thanks to my education in documentary filmmaking, I make every story very honest and as close to life as possible. It is important to me to show the viewer a true, rough, and unadorned story. Soulfulness, sincerity and poignancy, and love for experiments are the key points because of which I am often invited to projects.
