Born and raised in Turkmenistan, I was profoundly influenced by the Australian culture after living in Sydney since the age of 16.

Having completed art studies at the age of 13 at a public art school in Turkmenistan, this came in handy when I picked up a camera again at age 21 while finishing up a degree in international business in Sydney. Taking a photo of a friend in a studio at the Australian Centre for photography — I was hooked right away and have been enjoying finding the best in people using a lens ever since.
