My path in directing has begun in Elektrostal, my hometown. Later it went through music, skateboarding, and finally to the cinema. I started to define my audio-visual language for the first time in 2016 when I got my first DSLR camera. Since then, having tried different roles on the set, I was impressed by the directing and stuck to it.

Audio-visual language is like a bicycle for me. I am not trying to reinvent it, but, using the prism of my vision, I transform obvious and familiar things into new metaphorical images.

For me, directing is somehow a game with the audience, in which I highlight accents people need or allow choosing those accents by themselves. In my works, I always try to tell the “story” so that each element in filmmaking reveals its purpose (script, concept, camera movement, art part, etc.
